Some months back, Facebook added a new feature to its chat interface dubbed “Wave”. This feature let’s you send your friends a waving hand emoji to say hello. This waving 👋 hand emoji, according to Facebook spokesman, is the successor of the classic “Poke” feature which we believe many of us still remember. However, not everyone is familiar with this new “Wave” 👋🏿 feature, most especially those using web version of Facebook on mobile devices and this is because the feature is not enabled for mobile web Facebook users.
The Facebook Wave feature is available for users who run Facebook on their PCs or Computers, using any of the desktop web browsers and also those who use Facebook messenger App on their mobile devices. But then, we know not everyone uses Facebook Messenger and even if you own a PC, it is not always readily available every time, as there are times you would need to login to Facebook on your mobile📱 phone. Prior to when such a time will come or whatsoever your reasons might be, you might want to know how to use Facebook wave feature in mobile web browsers. For us to use Facebook wave feature in mobile web browsers, the trick will be, to make Facebook believe we are accessing its website from a Computer PC.
The Google Playstore ▶️has some of the best mobile web browsers with the abilities to deliver websites on desktop layouts and this is exactly what we would need in order to use Facebook this feature in mobile web browsers. However, for the purpose of this post, we made use of Opera Browser Beta. So follow the easy steps below to use Facebook wave feature in mobile web browser.
